Scope of Action

The Vault Admin can revoke their own ownership, making the vault immutable and preventing further rule changes.

Key Responsibilities and Capabilities of the Vault Administrator:

Ownership and Governance Control

• The Vault Admin is the owner of the vault, which means they have full control over the vault's configuration and management.

• As part of the governance structure, the Vault Admin can change the vault's owner in a two-step process: the new owner must accept ownership before the transfer is complete.

The Vault Admin role has full governance control, including the ability to assign and modify other roles, and should be selected with great care due to its authority.

Operational Control

• Renounce Ownership: Removes ownership and authority over the vault.

• Deactivate Whitelist: Disables the vault whitelist permanently.

• Pause/Unpause Vault: Temporarily halts or resumes vault operations.

• Initiate Vault Closing: Changes the vault status from "Open" to "Closing."

Permission Curator Manager

• Manage Protocol & Assets Interaction: Manages the whitelist, adding or removing protocols and assets for the Vault Curator.

• Oversee the lifecycle of Vault Curators: Manage the role by appointing or revoking one or multiple Vault Curators to oversee interactions with the assets held.
