This role is responsible for setting up the governance structure that will manage the vault. The Vault Administrator has significant control over the vault's key parameters and security features, defining how it operates and is governed.
The Vault Administrator can revoke their own ownership, making the vault immutable and preventing further rule changes.
Key Responsibilities and Capabilities of the Vault Administrator:
Ownership and Governance Control
The Vault Administrator is the owner of the vault, which means they have full control over the vault's configuration and management.
As part of the governance structure, the Vault Admin can change the vault's owner in a two-step process: the new owner must accept ownership before the transfer is complete.
The Vault Administrator role has full governance control, including the ability to assign and modify other roles, and should be selected with great care due to its authority.
